Answers to common questions about listings, expressions of interest, providers, credits and your account.

Getting Started

What is ChargeSites?

ChargeSites is Australia's marketplace connecting EV charging site hosts with qualified infrastructure providers. Hosts list sites, providers respond with proposals, and deals are executed inside secure Workspaces.

How do I create an account?

Click 'Sign in' in the navigation bar and choose the sign-up option. You can sign up with your email or use Google single sign-on. After verifying your email you'll be taken to the dashboard.

What's the difference between a Host and a Provider?

Hosts are site owners or managers who list locations for EV charging infrastructure. Providers are qualified companies (EPCs, installers, CaaS operators, etc.) who respond to those opportunities.

Listings & EOIs

How do I create a listing?

Go to Dashboard → Listings → Create Listing. The five-step wizard guides you through Basics, Location & Visibility, Site Snapshot, Power & Constraints, and Commercials & Timeline. At minimum you need a title, preferred pathway, location, and EOI close date.

What does submitting an EOI cost?

Submitting an Expression of Interest costs 10 credits. Credits are only deducted when the EOI is successfully submitted — never for browsing or drafting.

Can I control who sees my site address?

Yes. You can choose to show only suburb/state publicly, reveal the exact address after an EOI is submitted, or reveal it only after an EOI is accepted.

RFQs & Workspaces

What is an RFQ?

A Request for Quote (RFQ) lets hosts invite specific providers to submit proposals. Accepting an RFQ costs 5 credits and creates a Workspace for collaboration.

What are Workspaces?

Workspaces are secure collaboration environments created when an EOI or RFQ is accepted. They include messaging, a five-folder Data Room, and an Activity Log — all designed to keep the deal on-platform.

Can I close a Workspace?

Yes. Admins can close a Workspace at any time. Once closed, all content becomes read-only and the full transaction record is preserved.

Credits & Billing

How do credits work?

Credits are the platform currency. You purchase them in bundles (25, 100, or 500) or custom amounts. They're deducted when you take value-generating actions like submitting EOIs (10 credits) or accepting RFQs (5 credits). Credits never expire.

What is the Org Pool vs Personal Wallet?

The Org Pool is a shared credit balance for your organisation. The Personal Wallet is your own balance. Org admins control which wallet is charged by default and who can spend from the Org Pool.

Are prices inclusive of GST?

Yes. All prices displayed on ChargeSites include 10% Australian GST. Tax invoices are generated automatically and available in Dashboard → Billing → Invoices.

Provider Profiles

How do I claim my provider profile?

Navigate to the provider directory, find your company, and click 'Claim this profile'. You'll need to verify your identity and organisation ownership.

What are the provider tiers?

There are three tiers: Founding Partners (limited to 3 slots), Featured Providers, and Standard Providers. Higher tiers receive priority placement and access to premium profile fields.

Account & Security

How do I reset my password?

Click 'Forgot password?' on the login page. Enter your email and follow the link in the recovery email to set a new password.

How do I invite team members?

Go to Dashboard → Org & Team → click 'Invite Member'. Enter their email address and select a role. They'll receive an invitation link.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted in Australia. See our Security & Trust page for full details.
